Rovos Trail to Connect Two Oceans

A new adventure which will connect the Atlantic and Indian oceans is set to begin in July 2019, with the inauguration of Rovos Trail of Two Oceans Angola Tanzania.

The Rovos Trail will be crossing Tanzania, Zambia, Democratic Republic of Congo and Angola, after a 15-day expedition.

This is the first passenger train to travel the famous copper trail on this route. The expedition will include the Selous Reserve, a fly-in two-night safari in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park and a tour of Lumbashi. The train then joins the Benguela line before arriving in Lobito.

Rohan Vos, owner, CEO, Rovos Trail, stated, “To be able to introduce a new adventure after 29 years in operation is exciting and presents me with a refreshing operational challenge.”
