&Beyond Launches Philanthropic Itineraries

As travellers increasingly turn towards responsible travel and participative experiences becoming more mainstream, luxury travel operator &Beyond has launched a selection of Africa-based philanthropic itineraries.

The 10- or 12-day tours are designed to provide guests the opportunity to gain some first-hand conservation and community experience. The South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania tours combine high-end accommodation with opportunities to give back to local people and wildlife that make Africa a unique tourism destination.

Itineraries include visits to early learning centres, urban agricultural and environmental programmes, agricultural projects, wildlife sanctuaries and health programmes.

Guests will also visit farming and fishing communities and, depending on their tour, visit to an authentic Maasai Boma (village), David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, and wildlife sanctuaries at Ol Pejeta and Lewa Downs, among other attractions.
