Four Seasons Bali Opens Riverside Cooking School

Bali’s first custom-designed riverside cooking school, Sokasi, has opened its doors at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan.

Offering daily workshops and exclusive Chef’s Table dinners, it aims to connect guests with Bali’s cultural and spiritual heart through the local cuisine. Workshops take place near the Ayung River’s banks, under a banyan tree surrounded by the rice fields within the Resort’s gardens.

Three evenings a week, the Chef’s Table experience offers a family-style dinner as well as daily complimentary classes for children. “The location, architecture and natural forest symphony create a brand new destination [...] where students not only learn new kitchen skills and recipes, but also gain deep insights into the culture, daily rituals and traditional health remedies,” said Sean Mosher, resort manager, Four Seasons Sayan.
