Presidential Palace in Albania Open for Visitors

The former Royal Palace in Tirana, known as the Presidential Palace or as Palace of Brigades is now open for the public during weekends.

The palace is surrounded by high walls and guards, and no one could enter without an invitation, until now. The President of the Republic of Albania hosts state receptions and ceremonies in the palace, such as the annual presidential ball.

The Royal Gardens, situated near the Grand Park of Tirana, surround the Presidential Palace with 200 m area of trees. Overall, the park has an area of 74 ha showcasing fountains, sculptures, tree-lined gardens, flowers and labyrinths.
