What was then Hotel des Bergues opened its doors on May 01, 1834, soon becoming the first hotel in Geneva to obtain a five-star classification.
The property recently celebrated its anniversary by releasing a commemorative 1834 candle featuring amber wood, patchouli and oriental nutmeg fragrances.
Guests will now be able to take the olfactory identity of Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues around the world through the candles as well as 1834 spray and scented sticks.
The property has also found other ways to celebrate by infusing the scent in other treats for guests.
Created by bartender Sophie Larrouture and her Bar Les Bergues team, the 1834 cocktail, for example, is described as a delicate and subtle pink, slightly creamy, drink matching patchouli essential oils with gin and white cocoa liquor.
1834 Alpina Aroma Massage at the Mont Blanc Spa, meanwhile, makes up part of a unique essential oil aromatherapy massage.
