Held at Hilton Beirut Habtoor Grand Hotel, Lebanon on April 30, the event was organised by luxury affinity marketing group, The Luxury Network, in cooperation with Contribution Appreciation to Embassies in Lebanon.
Designed to support tourism, investment and the economy in Lebanon, the awards ceremony saw H.E. Mr. Ali bin Hamad Al Marri, ambassador, Qatar, honoured for the achievements of the State of Qatar in Lebanon, including Qatar’s contribution to a number of development and reconstruction projects in Lebanon.
In his speech, Al Marri’s said Qatar Airways was key to this success, and presented the airline with an award on its achievements and the role the airline has played in the growth of the Qatari economy and in making new global partnerships.
The award was received by Abdulaziz Al Mass, vice president, commercial and marketing, Hamad International Airport.
Qatar Airways has been operating flights to Beirut since the airline began its operations over 20 years ago.
The airline currently operates four daily flights to Beirut, while Qatar Airways Cargo currently offers customers belly-hold cargo capacity to and from Lebanon.
